About

Current in the motor. Pedal in the legs.

PedalCurrent E-Bikes exists to make electric commuter and city bikes that feel obvious to own: easy to ride, easy to park and easy for your local shop to look after.

Our approach

Built for streets, sold by people.

City riding asks a lot of a bike: daily use, all weather, and quick fixes when something wears out. We focus on two families of e-bikes so we can get those details right rather than chasing every trend.

We chose to grow through independent dealers because buying an e-bike goes better with a test ride, a proper fit and someone nearby for the first service. Our job is to give those shops a range they're proud to put their name next to.

What we stand for

Four rules we design by.

1

Ride-first design

We test on real commutes — potholes, rain, stairwells and tight bike rooms — before anything is called finished.

2

Repairable by default

Common components, documented torque specs and replaceable batteries. A good shop should never be locked out of a fix.

3

Dealers, not discounting

Local shops do the fitting, the test rides and the after-care. Our pricing policy is written to protect that work.

4

Honest specs

Range figures with the conditions attached. Weight with the battery in. No numbers that only work on a test bench.
